2018 End of Year Events

2018EndofYearEvents_1200x631

As the hazy days of Summer draw to a close, we find ourselves Fall-ing into a busy conference schedule. Check out the list below to see all the areas we are heading to. Come for the swag and promo credit, stay for the friends you meet along the way. We hope to see you as we hit the road this season!

Asbury Agile – October 5th

We’re crossing the bridge and heading up the parkway to Asbury Park, New Jersey for Asbury Agile. Looking forward to a day of workshops with some of tech’s great minds. We wouldn’t be opposed to a little Bruce Springsteen either. We are sponsoring the Happy Hour again so come on over, have a drink and hang out with some Linodians.

PyGotham – October 4th-6th

From New Jersey, we move on up to the East Side, to a deluxe conference in the sky. We are excited to be in the Big Apple at the Hotel Pennsylvania. PyGotham has stayed true to its roots by being for developers and run by developers. We’re excited to see what they have planned for their 7th year. Don’t forget to swing by the Linode booth to see what cool stuff we brought for you!

Node+Js Interactive – October 10th-12th

We’re grabbing our passports and heading to Vancouver for Node+JS Interactive. Join us for two days of talks, collaboration, and all things JavaScript. We’ll be there with our industry best soft t-shirts and other swag as well as promo credit. Stop by to talk with the team about Linode and how it can work for you!

Ohio Linux Fest – October 12th-13th

Here we go again on our own, going down the only road we’ve ever known to Columbus Ohio, for the 16th annual Ohio Linux Fest. What’s that you say? A grassroots conference for the GNU/Linux/Open Source Software/Free Software community? Featuring attendees and presenters from all over the United States, nay the world? Sign us up! We look forward to hearing all things Open Source and chatting with fellow Linux users.

DjangoCon – October 14th – 18th

You stay classy, San Diego, because we’re coming to town for DjangoCon. As the leaves change, and the temperature begins to venture into hoodie weather, we’ll be taking our talents to the West Coast. Stop by the Linode booth to gear up in a super soft tee shirt and some of our other swagalicious items. We look forward to seeing you on the left coast.

RGB Lan October 19th-21st

Do you like video games? Do you like charity? Do you like not sleeping? Then come on down to RGB Lan, which is only a hop, skip, and a jump from our Philly office. We will be sponsoring this 48-hour endeavor for the first time this year and rumor has it there may even be some prizes. Don’t miss out!

All Things Open – October 21-23rd

We had a blast at All Things Open last year and are really excited to join again this year. Come explore open source, open tech and the open web in enterprise in lovely Raleigh, North Carolina. Worried you’ll get some Carolina BBQ on your shirt? Don’t worry, we will have plenty to give out to any and all comers who visit the Linode booth.

HashiConf – October 22nd-25th

HashiCorp presents its annual user and tech conference in San Francisco. We hear there is going to be a Full House…get it…because Full House was in San Francisco. Bad jokes aside, we are excited to experience HashiConf for the first time. Come on by, say hello, grab some swag, get promo credit and make a friend. We’re nice, we swear!

LISA18 – October 28th-31st

The Linode train is going to keep rolling on into the Music City! Nashville. LISA is the shining city on the hill for operations professionals and we are excited to attend. Show us some of that southern hospitality and visit the Linode booth to say hello.

Developer Week Austin – November 6th-9th

Everything is bigger in Texas and Developer Week is no exception. Developer Week is Austin’s largest developer trade show. Is Austin the coolest city on our Fall tour? We certainly can’t say definitively, but what better place to talk all things tech? Meet us at the Salt Lick after the show and we can eat BBQ until we fall asleep. See you there!

BarCamp – November 10th

BarCamp Philly calls itself the “unconference” – a day of programming collaboratively built by the people, for the people being  held for its 11th year in our home, the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. What else needs to be said? Talk tech, get a cheesesteak, see the sights and visit us at BarCamp!

KubeCon / CloudNative Con – December 9th-14th

Be there or be square. As winter descends on our East Coast home, we will be crossing this great country to visit the birthplace of grunge music in Seattle! Bring your flannel shirts, your questions, and a bag to bring home all the cool stuff. This is Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s flagship conference and brings together a diverse array of people from within the open source and cloud native communities. We hope to see you there.
