I'm pleased to announce that in addition to Fremont, CA and Dallas, TX datacenters, we now have machines located in Atlanta, GA. There are a few more details on the "Our Network" page. For latency comparison, you can ping 64.22.71.1 .
Please open a support ticket if you're interested in migrating to that datacenter.

I am delighted to announce that effective February 27th, Michael Greb will join Linode.com full time as a Customer Service Engineer. Michael has more then ten years experience in computers, specifically Linux and supporting large client bases.
Michael will share customer service responsibilities, as well as take on server administration and application development duties.

Linux 2.6 on the Hosts
