Recent media coverage of cyber attacks appearing to originate from China against Google and other companies have mentioned a Linode VPS being involved. Eivind Uggedal, author of the free wasitup.com website monitoring service, recently posted an exhaustive performance comparison of cloud/VPS providers and their benchmarks over time.
