I just tried to sign in 3 times over the course of a couple of minutes and I started getting nervous when no email arrived. So I went in via SSH and tailed my mail logs. All of a sudden all 3 whitelist emails from Linode came through at exactly the same time as I watched realtime in the logs. Not a big deal - I'm not sure where the delay is, but give it a few minutes for the messages to arrive. This is an old thread but I’ve noticed a delay too. Why not send it immediately? I'm connecting to the net via a DSL service that reassigns the IP address every few days, often from an entirely different block.
